  1. S’mores Galore Hot Cocoa

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of milk (almond, soy, whole, coconut- any type will work!)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa OR your favorite hot cocoa mix
  • 1 tbsp sugar or sweetener of choice (if using hot cocoa mix, skip this!)
  • 3 or 4 graham crackers
  • Peanut butter
  • Optional: Whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate chips or chocolate syrup

Instructions: Start by adding your milk to a saucepan over medium heat. Then, mix cocoa and your sweetener together in a ramekin or small dish and add to milk. If you’re using a hot cocoa mix, add it to the milk alone. Next, whisk the ingredients until fully blended and keep an eye on the pan until the milk is steaming. Then, turn your stove off and prepare your mug by doing the following. Place your graham crackers in a plastic bag and crush into small pieces or crumbles. Line the rim of your mug with a very thin layer of peanut butter and dip it into the graham cracker crumbs. Then, pour your hot cocoa in the mug and top it with whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate chips, or chocolate syrup. Enjoy!

  1. Peanut Butter Mania Hot Cocoa

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2-3 tbsp of your favorite hot cocoa mix
  • ½ tbsp peanut butter
  • A few drops of pure vanilla extract
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Whipped cream
  • Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Instructions: Pour one cup of milk into a saucepan over medium heat. Then, add the hot cocoa mix of your choice and whisk until blended fully. Make sure the milk is heated and then add the peanut butter to your mixture and whisk until it’s fully combined into the milk. Next, drop in your vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon and stir. Then, you can add the hot cocoa into your favorite mug and top it with whipped cream and a few mini peanut butter cups. Enjoy!

  1. Nutella Hot Cocoa

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 2 spoonfuls of Nutella
  • Cinnamon
  • Whipped cream

Instructions: Pour about 1/4 of the milk into a saucepan on medium-low heat. Add the Nutella and whisk until blended. Slowly stir in the remaining milk. Then, add a pinch of cinnamon and whisk until hot and frothy. Carefully pour the mixture into a mug, add whipped cream and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy!

  1. Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp hot cocoa mix of choice
  • Sea salt
  • 2-3 tbsp caramel sauce
  • Whipped cream

Instructions: Add caramel sauce into the bottom of the mug you will use. Next, heat up your milk and hot cocoa mix in a saucepan until it’s warm and frothy. Then, pour your warm hot chocolate into the caramel coated mug and stir until the caramel dissolves. Lastly, top with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel, and a pinch of sea salt. Enjoy!

  1. Peppermint Bark Hot Cocoa

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups powdered milk
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 2-3 candy canes

Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine powdered milk, cocoa powder, and sugar and stir. Next, crush the candy canes into small bits and add to the dry mixture. Then, heat your milk until it’s warm and frothy in a saucepan and pour it into your favorite mug. Add ¼ cup of your cocoa mix into your milk and whisk until fully combined. You will have plenty of mix left over from this recipe and it can be stored in any container at room temperature for up to a month. Finally, top it off with whipped cream and a few left over candy cane crumbs. Enjoy!
