The 2014 “Rockin’ the Schoolhouse” concert returns to the Haverford High School Auditorium this Friday, March 7. The event benefits the B.L.A.S.T, the official Senior Prom after-party, as well as Philabundance.
The night kicks off at 7:45 p.m., featuring teacher-musicians Mr. Armine, Mr. Reiff, Mr Althouse, Mrs. Zeoli, Mr Mullen, and many more. Hear some talented teachers perform covers of radio hits. Past performances have included songs by the White Stripes, Phillip Phillips, Kings of Leon, and Taylor Swift.
Funds from ticket sales will benefit the B.L.A.S.T, the official Senior Prom after-party held at HHS every year. The B.L.A.S.T ensures students have a safe and enjoyable way to continue celebrating once the dance ends.
Discounted ticket prices for “Rockin’ the Schoolhouse” are offered for those who donate a canned good (at the door) to support Philabundance.
The show begins at 7:45, all are welcome. Tickets are $10 for the public, $8 for students and are on sale at all lunches.
