- “Santa Baby” – Ariana Grande and Liz Gillies
- Remember your favorite duo from the popular Nickelodeon series Victorious? Well the popular characters Cat Valentine and Jade West, played by iconic legends Ariana Grande and Liz Gillies, have a Christmas song together! The song is a cover of the ever so popular “Santa Baby” by Eartha Kitt. Both artists have a background in Broadway and make for a perfect Christmas duet!Â
- God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen – Pentatonix
- Pentatonix, a Grammy award-winning acapella group, is famous for their various Christmas albums and holiday songs that take over the charts almost every winter. After their cover “Hallelujah” gained national recognition last year, I dived more deeply into their music. My favorite song on their “A Pentatonix Christmas” album is for sure their cover of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”. The song perfectly showcases their incredible vocal abilities and is super fun.Â
- Rockin Around The Christmas Tree – Miley Cyrus
- Over the past couple of weeks, famous icon legend star Miley Cyrus has released two-holiday singles recorded from the Spotify headquarters in NYC. Both songs are a huge change from what you usually hear from Christmas music. Miley was able to put her country-rock twang into “Rockin Around The Christmas Tree”, making it my favorite of the two.
- It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas – Michael Buble
- If your looking for more of a classic sounding cover, Michael Buble’s entire Christmas album is perfect for you! “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas”  among the most popular, but any cover on the album is beautiful.
- Last Christmas by Taylor Swift
- What’s a holiday soundtrack without a version of the ever so popular “Last Christmas” by George Michael? In this rendition, Taylor Swift takes the mic for a newer, pop version of the classic Christmas radio hit. Although I am not a huge fan of Taylor Swift, she delivers the fan favorite in an extremely catchy way.Â
- All I Want For Christmas Is You – Mariah Carey featuring Justin Bieber
- Everyone knows that the most popular Christmas song is “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by the talented Mariah Carey, but many do not know about the cover that both Mariah and Justin put out of her own song. Justin adds a new and fun pop verse to the classic Christmas bop that is for everyone to enjoy.
- Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays – NSYNC
- Looking for a 90s throwback to round out your holiday soundtrack? The internationally known boy band NSYNC has many different holiday tracks for your winter season needs! And if you get the chance, be sure to check out the music video. It is the perfect way to get into the 90s and holiday spirit.
- Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas – Sam Smith
- The perfect way to end your holiday soundtrack is with the music stylings of Sam Smith. In this cover of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” originally performed by Judy Garland, Sam Smith shares his incredible voice through the power of holiday music. In addition to this being one of the most beautiful holiday songs written, Sam Smith’s voice sounds almost perfect on the track.Â
