When the leaves turn from green to hues of red and orange, and when the temperature cools and mornings are dark, you know it’s fall. Pour yourself a cup of your favorite hot beverage and lock in for this fall guide.
Speaking of drinks, the most appropriate delight for the season is a classic pumpkin spice latte. You know what they say, pumpkin spice and everything nice! If you are not into the pumpkin flavor you can also try a chai latte or even a spiced herbal tea. Or try my personal favorite: run to Whole Foods and grab their limited edition seasonal pumpkin whipped cream to add to a hot chocolate at home. A warm drink paired with a good show or movie can really set the vibe.
Don’t know what to watch? One ultimate show of the season is Gilmore Girls, set in the Northeast and carrying an undeniable fall aesthetic. As you flip through the channels in the fall, you’re guaranteed to land on a football game, whether it’s college or the NFL, and it’s always a good idea to cheer on the Birds. To get comfy with a movie, classic hits that fit are the Harry Potter series, Hocus Pocus, and Practical Magic. When I think of fall, I think of cozying up by the fireplace with a warm blanket to keep out the cold.
On sunny days in fall, the smell of the season changing and leaves crunching beneath your feet may beckon you outside. What are some comfortable clothes fit for the season? Turtlenecks, knit sweaters, and the always-fashionable sweatpants, will be your staple fit of the season. Pair this with a boot or sneaker and spice it up by adding a scarf and gloves–and you’re ready for the great outdoors. There are endless fall-coded activities to enjoy from pumpkin picking at a patch, making s’mores by a bonfire, and watching football games!
Before you know it, winter will be setting in with its brisk temperatures and snowy skies. So get out there and make the most of the fall season!
