Happening This Week: Underclass Ring Ceremony, Blood Drive, AP Art Show, SAT

The HHS Class of 2015 Ring Ceremony will be held Wednesday, April 30 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school Auditorium. Those students who ordered and payed for a class ring are invited to attend the ceremony, where rings will be distributed.

The Red Cross Blood Drive is happening Thursday, May 1 in the Juenger Gymnasium. This is an all-day event, and Student Senate is still looking for volunteers to donate blood. If you would like to donate blood, but are under the age of 18, you need to have a parent or guardian sign a consent form prior to your appointment.

The AP Art Show will be held this Friday, May 2 in the HHS Library. Admission is $3 for students and $5 for adults. The reception will be held from 6-9 p.m and will feature live music from HHS students as well as light refreshments. All are welcome to admire the work of our talented AP Artists. This is AP Art teacher Mr. Wangberg’s last year at Haverford. Proceeds from the show benefit Heifer International.

The SAT takes place this Saturday, May 3. The test is NOT at Haverford High School. See the Main Office for more details.
